Rare Ball Python Hatchling Wet Specimen (Yolk Sack Still Attached)

The snake died of natural causes. 

This ball python did not hatch with the rest of its clutch mates. After waiting for a few days I decided to cut the egg open only to find that the snake had already passed. The snake was fully developed and still attached to the yolk stalk (similar to the umbilical cord in humans). I was able to preserve the yolk stalk along with the snake to make a truly unique and fascinating wet specimen. This piece will make an amazing addition to your collection of strange and unusual things!

The jar measures 4.5 inches tall x 2 inches wide.

 The preserved snake and jar will be shipped to the buyer without liquid.  The jar will need to be filled with 91% Isopropyl alcohol once received.
