Banana Spider Ghost Ball Python Male

Hatched in 2017

I bought this snake as a female. I grew "her" up and start breeding her. As a new breeder I wasn't really familiar with the spider gene and sexing my animals. I took the word of the breeder I bought him from that "she" would be a great breeder for me. Well, eventually I  discovered SHE was a HE. I was disappointed but I paired him up with a female I had and after 2 clutches that contained the spider gene I decided the gene was not worth breeding.

The spider gene is gorgeous but it creates an issue with the snake causing them to have a head wobble and sometime corkscrew when they get excited. Some spiders have the wobble worse than others. His is defiantly noticeable when he is excited but it does not impact his ability to eat or have an otherwise happy life. He is a little shy and occasionally hisses when you pick him up but he is not defensive and over all very happy and healthy. 

Because of the spider gene I do not recommend breeding him but if you are looking for a beautiful, well established, and  easy going pet this guy may be perfect for you!

Currently feeding on F/T small or medium rats.
